A New Must have for bowhunting
« Thread Started on May 1, 2008, 9:14pm »

Ok all, I just got myself a brand new Archer Rangefinder. Let me tell you what, for under $50 bucks, it is finally possible to own a dead on rangefinder. I used it in my backyard, and compared to a nikon rangefinder, i was getting the same yardage with both to all of my targets!!
This Archer Rangefinder is an easy to use product. The directions on the back of the package is all that you need to learn to use this simple product, ACCURATELY!!! I have never used a rangefinder before, and as soon as i opened the package i was accurately ranging and shooting my targets.
Please look at the website. It is honestly the best use of $50 i beleive anybody could use for bowhunting.

Where can you find a laser range finder for $40 - $50. I'm seeing them for $140 to $150 on Ebay??

I think the one Josh's is talking about is a manual range finder (string type)

I have a manual optical type (line up the two images to determine yardage, up to 60 yards) It cost around $60 - years ago now.

I have a Leica LRF 900 Scan. Mine was a little on the expensive side, but a great range finder. Retails for around $650. The range on this baby is 800 yrds. It can also keep you company on a boring day in the tree stand. LOL

LOL, When I put up a stand, I pace off, and mentally note trees at 5 yard increments out to 40 yards.

Maybe I'm just oldschool ;D
