the 6 point that I hit was on a dead sprint and I didnt have time to hit the brakes. I was driving 60 when I hit it and those lifted springs sure made for a bumpy ride as he went under neath both drivers side tires. it messed up the bumper, fender and a little bit of the grill. but thats what insurance is for. as hard as I hit him I am glad i was not in my VW Rabbit as it probably would have ripped the rabbit in half at that speed and location.

we will get it fixed back up this winter and be good to go again soon.

Well at least people had more luck than I did. Ted, thats all im happy about right now too. I usually have at least 1 buck down my gun season, I ended up wounding 2 giants this year. Not good.
Justin..ARE YOU SERIOUS!I hope you didnt wreck that nice truck..I too almost got a deer with my truck, but I locked the tires up and came within about 1 foot of it.

I shot a 6 pt yesterday at 12:15pm. Typical farm buck (Pictures coming soon). I passed on a spike that same day. The deer have been few and far between. Nobody else in my camp has taken anything. My cousin's son shot a spike buck, but lost it. My cousin missed a 4 pt.

There have been brief sightings of Mr. Big - moving too fast to count the points, but he is BIG!!!

Heading back out tomorrow morning. Keep hunting hard guys.
